Fits my HEQ5 pro perfectly allowing me to balance to max payload of the mount

I really bought it for an 18 months old HEQ5, and it is a perfect fit.

As the HEQ5 Pro original counterweight configuration does not allow to balance a payload above approxx 9kg, this is required to make the most of the 11kg allowance ! works very well on my model received in January 2021.

Does exactly what was needed. Fits my 4+ year old EQ6 perfectly.

I used two joined counterweight bars to provide RA balance for a Sky-Watcher AZ-GTi mounted on a William Optics Vixen Style Equatorial Wedge.
The counterweight bar was attached by threading in an 8 cm length of M12 studding cut from a Forgefix 5CB12240 Carriage Bolt.
A Rowan AZ100 3.75Kg SS counterweight was used.
This configuration provides fine balance control - so pleased with result.

Just wanted to let everyone know that the Counterweight Bar Extension for Sky-Watcher NEQ6 does fit the HEQ5 Pro. My HEQ5 Pro was purchased in 2021 so I don't know how far back in years it goes before something changed or if it ever did change. I can just say it fits the newer version like it was made for it. I also purchased this from the US and FLO was fast on shipping and I had no issues with shipping journey to me. Matter of fact I could not even get it within the US and FLO had it and now I can use my new 10" Newtonian.

Having brought all my equipment to a dark sky site in France, I realised I'd left the extension bar behind. Easily sorted after a helpful email response. No problem with delivery abroad.
