Asterion Counterweight Storage Cage

The CW Cage is a simple accessory that allows you to conveniently store and transport counterweights for the German-type equatorial mount. The cage consists of two metal plates, which are connected by a rubberized handle and a 20mm axle for installing counterweights. When assembled, the cage protects the counterweights from damage or accidental rolling during transport. Loading and unloading counterweights become much easier and safer during on-site observation.
