The Natura BGA WP DC 8x42 monocular's unique features and optical set-up make it an excellent choice for coastguard services, surveyors, and marine observers.
The integral compass and reticule enable you to locate, observe and record a distance/bearing to objects across land and sea.
Featuring a long eye relief 7.4° wide-field eyepiece for easy track and trace, the ED glass objective, PC Oasis prism unit and high light transmission multi-coatings maximise the ability to see detail in poor light.
The mil-scale reticule projected into the eyepiece allows measurement of the distance to an object if its height is known and its height and width if the distance is known. The 360° floating compass enables you to take a bearing at +/-20° to the horizontal.
The waterproof and fog-proof body is nitrogen-purged to eliminate internal condensation. It also has tactile rubber armour.
The roof-prism design reduces size and weight, enabling one-handed operation in most situations. For stable hands-free observation, the monocular can be screwed directly to any tripod or monopod with a compatible ¼” thread.
It is supplied in a soft case with a wrist strap, lanyard and rubber covers for the eyepiece and objective lens.
