I needed to adapt my TS 2.5" Rack and Pinion Focuser to a 48mm thread to allow a screwed connection to my flattener.
This is on my Meade 127ED (the focuser is a replacement to the stock one that came with the Meade)

This adapter is perfect, especially since it is the same diamater as the focuser tube which means it retracts inside the drawtube , so no backfocus is lost in the system.

This adaptor was to replace the stock one that came with a Sharpstar 15028HNT. The issue with the stock adaptor was that it had two holes in the flat surface (maybe for ease of removal) but all these did was allow light directly into the reducer and telescope, and, naturally, into the imaging camera as a major light leak. Black tape was used, but this was no long-term solution, and so this adaptor was bought. The usual TS Optics good quality in the construction, and feel, and it does the job excellently. And, of course, the usual good service from FLO. Note: if you have the same scope, then this adaptor has a longer optical path than the stock, so you'll need to reconsider your spacers and other adaptors to get [55 mm] back focus.
