Perfect tool for 'tuning' the back focus on my setup. Highly recommended. Excellent service from FLO too.
Used to accommodate non flat field focal plane on old SCT 18 March 2021 | John
Works as expected. Wanted it to get the right part of an image taken on an old SCT (Celestron Ultima 2000 tube) in focus - i.e. round stars. Easy to use, rotate the outer part to the right length and then lock in place. Great service from FLO.

Bought to use with the Baader Flipmirror and Zwo camera, all fits together well, not had chance to use it yet but everything works ok.
55 mm back focus with Atik Horizon II 06 February 2021 | Trevor
With an ED72 scope and SW reducer this Varilock allows you to get the required 55mm focus spacing. Works well, is solid when clamped and is easy to adjust.
Superb if you have multiple cameras. 26 June 2020 | Philip
My ZWO ASI294 and Atik Horizon have different (in camera) back focus. To achieve the 105mm back focus required behind a f/6.3 Celestron Focal Reducer I use a T-Adapter (50mm) and Baader Varilock. To switch between cameras, I simply loosen its locking ring; perform a couple of turns of the inner ring; then lock the locking ring. Takes me a mere few seconds and no wobbly visual back or diagonal in the chain. Much easier than fiddling with multiple spacers..
Perfect for my needs and very well made 23 May 2020 | John
This was perfect for my needs, that being an adjustable spacer/tube between the visual back plus Celestron 6.3 Reducer/Corrector, and a Celestron Filter Wheel with a Syris 236M on the other side. I needed 105mm (maybe up to 110mm some suggest) to be in the perfect focus zone for the 6.3 Reducer. The ability to micro-focus against the 6.3 Reducer optimum distance, makes it a great option for my wider field Astrophotography with my 9.25 SCT. The item is very well made, in typical Baader style.

FLO were kind enough to assist me with my first camera back focus measurements and this item was on the list of needed items. It works very well indeed. Easy to set and locks solid. The only thing I did was to add a tiny spray of WD40 to the threads. But only a hint of oil !!
Great item.

I already had the 29mm version of this adapter but since changing my setup I needed something that would cover exactly 37mm spacing for my field flattener.
This done the job perfectly and completely hassle free. I screwed it down to 37mm and connected to my field flattener and camera. After double checking with a set of digital calipers it was bang on and hasn't moved since.
Well made, solid and the locking ring is a very nice touch to keep everything in place.
