I bought this to attach to the mak to sct adapter I bought for my 90mm Skymax. The adapter I had to grind the adapter to fit. So to fit the 2inch visual back I had to remove the rubber focus knob on my scope and it fits with just under 1mm clearance from the focuser now. I just attached some grippy electrical tape to the focuser for added grip with the rubber removed now. The visual back performs marvellously and everything stays centred when swapping out eps or cameras and nothing gets marked up anymore.

The visual back is a perfect fit on my meade 8 in lx90 ota . Fantastic price too .. top marks for f.l.o.

I bought this to attach a HOTECH Laser Collimator Mirror to the Visual Back of my EDGE HD8… it works great!
It’s a solidly engineered piece of kit and has a secure connection using a single knob and brass ring.
Highly Recommended.

great little piece of kit fits on the Mak/SCT adapter great no binding and no slop

Fits on nice and snug to the SCT with no wiggle room. Has a band inside under the thumb screw so as not to marr your eyepieces, unlike the cheapo proprietary accessories that come with most Celestron/Sky-Watchers.
Not too heavy and not too light either, and has allowed me to get the full 2 inches out of my eyepieces, which is worth way more than the asking price in itself.

This adapter is an attractive and functional addition to my Skywatcher 127 Skymax.

Attached really nice to my Celestron C8 XLT. I really like the interior plate in front of the screw, so I know it won't scratch the accessories I'll attach to it.
