I bought this to use with my HEQ-5 Pro mount and the MeLe 4c Mini pc on my astrophotography rig. Using APT for controlling the scope and image capture, I was having a few little issues while I had the pc connecting to the mount via the Synscan Hand Controller. The combination of this cable and free EQMOD software meant I could do away with the HC. I have done a few imaging sessions now and I must say it works very well. I can slew the scope, track at various rates, and set parameters that I used to set via the HC. But now the setup is less messy.
The cable looks to be of good quality, which goes some way to justifying the hefty price tag for a cable, you get what you pay for. Delivery from FLO was quick and secure as usual. I am very pleased with this purchase so far.

The cable from FLO works a treat with my new Skywatcher HEQ5 mount with no loss of connectivity. Previously had a similar cable from FLO for my Alt Ax GoTo mount which developed a fault which FLO graciously replaced in a timely manner, Gary Warnes, Cheam, Surrey, UK

Not the cheapest cable, but it is well made and feels like it will last a long time, the ends are nicely secured and the cable is reasonably flexible, no problems in use, reconised straight away on my Raspberry Pi and connected to the motor control board of my Synscan EQ5 Pro mount in place of the hand controller, was then able to control the mount with the EQMOD driver.

This replaced a budget cable that was no longer working. The plugs in the new cable are a snug fit and the ASIair connected immediately to the mount without issue. Problem solved. Cable appears well made and will hopefully give many years of reliability. Expensive but highly recommended.

Bought this as an upgrade to my basic eq-direct cable.
Very nice heavy duty type, a bit pricey for a cable (over £40) but I cannot fault its build quality or looks.

Am very happy with my cable I recently purchased from FLO, I brought to enable me to connect my new scope with my laptop. It took awhile but with advice from flo, I was able to successfully do it. And the cable is performing as it I hoped it would. Will definitely be doing business with again.

This lead works very well, enable me to control my telescope mount from my laptop.

Disappointed by this relatively expensive cable. After many frustrating hours of trying to use this with EQMOD, I was reduced to second-guessing, and ordering a far cheaper FTDI cable from Amazon UK for my Sky-Watcher AZ-EQ6 GT Pro mount. That worked instantly.
