This is the short version of the TS 2.5" Rack and Pinion Focuser with a max payload capacity of 6kg and designed for fitting to the StellaLyra (and others manufactured by GSO) 6" and 8" Ritchey Chretien and Classical Cassegrain telescopes.
Telescope side connection - M90x1 female thread:
The TS 2.5" rack and pinion focuser is attached to the telescope via an M90x1 female thread adapter. 360° rotation is also included - with no tilting. The connection fits directly to the 6" and 8" StellaLyra Ritchey Chretien and Cassegrain telescopes.
Camera side/eyepiece side connection:
The TS 2.5" rack and pinion focuser has an M63x1 connection thread on the camera side. This allows direct screwing of corrector systems like the TS 2.5" full-frame flattener for refractors or StellaLyra Ritchey Chretien telescopes.
In addition, a 2" eyepiece adaptor is included (compression ring with three screws), and a 2" to 1.25" adaptor is also included.
This focuser does not use ballbearing supports, which can tilt. Instead, it uses a Teflon support, guaranteeing a complete lack of play when used with heavy loading. The draw tube's motion is separated, offering the best possible stability and smooth movement.

Recently received from FLO, as always great service. I needed a focuser for my 6” Stellalyra RCT which came without a focuser so I can’t compare with the original from GSO but apparently they are not great.
The TS focuser is beautifully made and a pleasure just to hold. It’s rather heavy and very sturdy, I could not detect any kind of wobble with the whole imaging train attached to the extension rings. The focuser action is fairly smooth but you can feel the rack and pinion mechanism which is tight and precise, no sagging detected
Overall, a beautiful piece of kit which seems to do everything you want from a focuser upgrade. FLO recommended the short version to avoid touching the back of the primary mirror
