Celestron's 4-element Plossl eyepiece features include blackened lens edges to minimize internal reflection and maximize contrast, fully multi-coated optics for maximum light transmission.
Best suited for telescopes with f-ratios f6 or slower.
Threaded barrel accepts 1.25" filters and features a 'safety undercut' to prevent the eyepiece falling out of the focuser.

I bought the 32mm Omni plossl for duty as my widest field low power eyepiece for my SkyMax 102mm scope. The view is clear, crisp and good to the edge. My only quibble is the long eye relief (don't know what it is) has me moving my head around a bit to get the field in my eye. An eye guard of some kind would be nice. But fit/finish is good so recommended.

A good step up from the 10mm eyepiece that is supplied with most telescopes. Good clear image with a respectable 50 degrees FOV. Packaged well and dispatched swiftly by FLO as usual

Celestron 15mm Omni Plossl 04 November 2019 | Martin
A great price and very fast delivery but I did select one of Royal Mail's recorded 24 hour delivery. The eyepieces where very well protected in a big cardboard box (not a jiffy bag am pleased to say) and lots of foamies. (Note to FLO perhaps use a environmentally safe 'foam' and not a plastic based one?) The eyepiece - Celestron 15mm Omni is a very nice product, I have a 40mm in my collection - I have yet to try it as the sky has been shy hiding behind rain loaded clouds! I think they are made by GSO and look like the Meade 4000 series and if so are a very good eyepiece for the price. I mean at £25 you cant go wrong and if you are on a budget this is the way to go. Some eyepieces and old second hand ones can fetch between £75-£100 and more. If you are on a budget for approx £100 you could get four nice e/p's for the price of one. I would definitely use FLO again and sincerely wish them all the very best for the future. Martin Dawson (The York Astronomical Society)

I bought this as a first step in updating the standard eyepieces suppled with a 100m f6 refractor. I wanted something that was glasses friendly for the family and allowed a nicely composed view of wider subjects like the Pleiades. I am very pleased. It feels and looks well made. Its not very heavy so doesn't unbalance the 'scope. The view is lovely, nice and wide and the stars look like bright pinpoints - across the fov (even for an f6). The contrast is subjectively nice. The silvery body is nice as it allows it to be seen in the dark. The eyecup flips up and there is plenty of eye relief.
Great addition to my collection 14 August 2018 | Steve
The eyepiece arrived quickly and was very well packaged to ensure no harm could come to it in its journey. As you’d expect from Celestron the quality is really good, from the solidity of the eyepiece itself right through to the sharpness and brilliance of the image through it. This is a great addition to my range of lenses, providing a useful wide field of view for observing the stars at the beginning of my session or throughout!

I have bought a range of these over time covering the 6, 9, 12, 15, 32 and 40. They are good value for money and work well. I would say the 32mm & 40mm provides the same views so no need to go above the 40mm in my case.

Best eyepiece I own (12mm) 30 May 2014 | Mathew
I have recently bought my scope from FLO and purchased this eyepiece along with it. It is better for clarity than the two that were provided with the scope. Definitely worth the £29 price tag (I have the 12mm)
