Lunático Astronomía's tiny (71 × 71 × 21 mm) CW2 device, weighing just 85 grams, is a portable cloud detector - or perhaps better described as a 'cloudy sky' alarm. During a long imaging session, you may want to take a nap while your camera labours on, but you know that clouds are always lurking just below the horizon, waiting for their chance to pounce into the sky. Fortunately, the CW2 is tirelessly watching the sky for danger.

An updated version of the original Lunático CW, this marvellous box of tricks keeps tabs on ambient temperature, atmospheric pressure, wind speed and relative humidity. In addition to spying on those pesky clouds, it can also measure sky quality. Should measured values exceed a parameter that you define, it will let you know - whether you are napping or no.

This ingenious tool has updatable software, Wi-Fi and features GPS. It knows where you are - and it knows where 'they' are too."

Lunatico Pocket CW2

The Lunatico Pocket CW2 is a new, improved version of Lunatico's portable solution for cloud detection and measuring sky quality, temperature, relative humidity, dew point, and wind.

It also features GPS location.

All this is accessible using a smartphone and a PC.

The new pocket CW2 will initially be launched with the functions provided by its predecessor, the Pocket CW. After that, Lunatico will provide enhancements via software updates.

Includes all components necessary to integrate the new characteristics.

Software updates will be free, and full PC connectivity will be available from the outset (ASCOM driver, Windows software, etc.).

This approach will save you money and enable you to vote for future enhancements.
