The Baader steel levelling flange for the 10Micron GM1000 mount consists of a precision milled top plate (upon which the GM1000 is fitted) connected to the base plate by three steel bars. The base plate is then attached to a pier (e.g. #2451210).

The flange allows also an accurate levelling of the mount without affecting stability.

The photo below shows how the flange is attached to a pier with the connection and levelling bolts.
